  • In 2004, it is estimated that 700,000 Americans will have a new coronary attack and about 500,000 will have a recurrent attack.
  • Within six years after a recognized heart attack, 18 percent of men and 35 percent of women will experience another heart attack and about 22 percent of men and 46 percent of women will be disabled with heart failure.

Chances are that you or someone you know has been diagnosed with coronary artery disease or heart failure. It's frightening when you consider that these are serious conditions for which there are no cures. The good news is these diseases can be managed, and living a full and enjoyable life with the right treatment and healthy lifestyle is possible. EECP® therapy has been used extensively to eliminate or improve angina for many patients, particularly those with congestive heart failure. Many patients have reduced the need for nitroglycerin or eliminated it's use altogether.
